NEW YORK, Dec. 12 (UPI) -- Demi Lovato tripped over a microphone stand and fell to the ground at the end of her performance at Friday's iHeartRadio/Z100 Jingle Ball.

The 23-year-old pop star had just completed her 20-minute set and was leaving the stage when she took the tumble, landing on her back with her arms and legs flailing, Entertainment Tonight reported.

The mishap happened right after she sang her hit "Cool for the Summer."

She showed she was a good sport, however, by tweeting: "Guys don't you get it by now? Only cool kids fall on stage."
