"Woke my bride up this morning with a baby in my arms and the news that our version of 'If I Needed You' was nominated for a Grammy," Rory wrote on the band's official Facebook page of how he delivered the good news to his wife.

"As her excitement and tears flowed into mine. She said, 'How can that be?' The song received no radio airplay...no press... no critical acclaim... and the only music video we made for it was to celebrate the day our little Indiana was born."

"God is so good. Thank you, thank you, thank you," he added.

Joey was diagnosed with terminal cervical cancer in 2014 with Rory updating fans on her health status on the couple's official website. In November, the terminally ill Joey was placed under hospice care a month after she stopped treatment because the disease was spreading aggressively.

The Feeks continue to stay strong however taking care of their 21-month-old daughter Indiana and announcing last month that they would still be releasing a new album on Valentine's Day entitled Joey's Album.
