Vin Diesel unveils new 'Xander Cage' trailer on Facebook

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 1 (UPI) -- Actor Vin Diesel unveiled on Facebook Tuesday a new, 2 1/2-minute trailer for his upcoming action picture xXx: Return of Xander Cage.

"The new trailer is here. Get ready to enter the Xander Zone," a press release from Paramount Pictures said. "In a Facebook first, Vin Diesel launched the new trailer simultaneously across more than 70 Facebook pages live! Other cast members joined the Facebook Live stream via 'drop in' videos from around the world."

Directed by D.J. Caruso and co-starring Deepika Padukone, Donnie Yen, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev, Rory McCann and Samuel L. Jackson, the movie is to open nationwide Jan. 20. It is the sequel to 2002's xXx and 2005's xXx: State of the Union.
