"Yeah, I am committed to doing a couple more," he shared. "I can't speak for [director] Mr. [Michael] Bay, but something tells me we'll be on the set soon."

Transformers: Age of Extinction saw Yeager and his daughter Tessa (Nicola Peltz) help Optimus Prime and the Autobots evade the U.S. government and fight the Decepticons. The film ends with Optimus Prime leaving Earth to confront the godlike Creators.

Transformers: Age of Extinction opened in theaters in June, and raked in over $1 billion at the box office. Bay also directed the first three films in the franchise, starring Shia LaBeouf, which earned a combined $2.6 billion.

Wahlberg will next appear alongside George Kennedy and Jessica Lange in The Gambler. The actor is also scheduled for William Monahan film Mojave and BP oil spill drama Deepwater Horizon, and will star as Steve Austin in The Six Billion Dollar Man.
