LOS ANGELES, D.C., Sept. 23 (UPI) -- "End of Watch" and "House at the End of The Street" were atop the U.S. box office this weekend, both with $13 million in gross receipts.
"End of Watch" stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena. "House at the End of The Street" stars Jennifer Lawrence and Elizabeth Shue.
All studio estimates of gross U.S. box office receipts are via Box Office Mojo.
Clint Eastwood's "Trouble with the Curve" was a close third with $12.72 million; "Finding Nemo (3D)" fourth with $9.446 million; "Resident Evil: Retribution" fifth with $6.7 million; "Dredd" sixth with $6.3 million; "The Master" seventh with $5 million in limited release; "The Possession" eighth with $2.63 million; "Lawless" ninth with $2.321 million.
"ParaNorman" rounded out the top 10 with $2.297 million.
