Saweetie to host Netflix special 'Sex: Unzipped'

Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Saweetie will host the new Netflix special Sex: Unzipped.

Netflix confirmed Wednesday that Saweetie, 28, will host the upcoming comedy special about sex positivity.

Sex: Unzipped will feature experts and celebrities including Dominique Jackson, Joel Kim Booster, Michelle Buteau and Trixie Mattel. The show will address the biggest misconceptions surrounding sex and identity.

Saweetie will also be joined by a cast of sex positive puppets who are representative of the broad spectrum of sex and sexualities that exist in real life, according to a press release.

Sex: Unzipped is written by Erika Ehler, Steve Parry and Nico Tatarowicz. Saweetie serves as a producer with Saima Ferdows, Neil Kirby, Theresa Marth and Matt White.

The special hails from Fulwell 73.

Sex: Unzipped premieres Oct. 26 on Netflix.

Saweetie is a rapper known for the singles "Icy Girl," "Best Friend" featuring Doja Cat, "Slow Clap" with Gwen Stefani and "Fast (Motion)." She is also an actress who appeared on the ABC series Grown-ish.
