Jessica Simpson shares photo from family's Broadway 'adventure'

May 11 (UPI) -- Jessica Simpson and her family enjoyed an "adventure" Thursday in New York.

The 37-year-old designer and her husband, former NFL player Eric Johnson, brought 6-year-old daughter Maxwell and 4-year-old Ace to see Frozen on Broadway.

Simpson posted a picture on Instagram from the St. James Theatre. The snapshot shows Simpson and her family striking a pose before taking their seats at the theater.

"New York Broadway adventure #Frozen #MAXIDREW #ACEKNUTE," she captioned the post.

Simpson had shared a photo Wednesday of Maxwell and Ace in the cockpit of a plane.

"We've got this under control #MAXIDREW #ACEKNUTE #Aviators #AviatorNation," she wrote.

Simpson and Johnson celebrated Maxwell's sixth birthday at an "over-the-top" party earlier this week. The couple threw their daughter a Greatest Showman-themed bash with circus-themed decorations and several performers in costume.
