March 2 (UPI) -- The Walking Dead star Jeffrey Dean Morgan has announced via Twitter the birth of his second child with his fiancee, actress Hilarie Burton. "Hey y'all... baby gal morgan is spectacular. We just respecting her wishes for laying low a bit longer. But we super appreciate all the well wishes n stuff. Thank you," Morgan tweeted Thursday, without offering any further details such as the child's birthdate or name.

The couple, who have been together since 2009, are also the parents of a 7-year-old son named Augustus.
Burton is a former Total Request Live host who went on to star in the TV dramas One Tree Hill, White Collar and Lethal Weapon.
