Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Actress Kaley Cuoco and professional equestrian Karl Cook announced their engagement Thursday. "Well after nearly two years I finally got up the courage to ask her to marry me. This is the best night of my life and I think the video shows it is the best night for kaley as well," Cook wrote on Instagram. "She said yes!!!!!"

The message accompanied a video of Cuoco crying and showing off her new, diamond ring.
"We're engaged!" she said through tears.
People magazine said Cook's proposal took place on the Big Bang Theory actress' 32nd birthday, hours after he jokingly presented her with an enormous, faux ring while they were shopping in Target.
Cuoco, who also starred on the sitcom 8 Simple Rules, was previously married to professional tennis player Ryan Sweeting 2013-15.
