Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Jessica Simpson's daughter was thrilled to recently meet Princess Charlene of Monaco.

The 37-year-old designer made 5-year-old Maxwell Drew's dreams come true Wednesday by bringing her to the 2017 Princess Grace Awards in Los Angeles.

Simpson shared a photo on Instagram of Maxwell presenting Princess Charlene with a bouquet of flowers on the red carpet. The 5-year-old wore a red and black dress, matching headband and sparkling silver shoes.

"Maxwell's dream to meet a real life princess coming true (and mom holding back her tears of pride!) #MAXIDREW @princessgraceUS @hshprincesscharlene," Simpson captioned the picture.

Simpson shares Maxwell and 4-year-old son Ace Knute with husband Eric Johnson, whom she married in July 2014. She called Maxwell her "fairytale princess" while celebrating her fifth birthday in May.

"My baby Maxwell is 5 years old today. She makes everyone's life mermaid magical. Happy Birthday to our fairytale princess. Mommy, Daddy, and Ace love you with our 'holy hearts' (as Max would say)," the star wrote.

Simpson said in an interview with The Ellen DeGeneres Show the same month that she and Johnson won't be having any more children.

"We got an IUD. Nothing's going to get in that uterus," she joked. "I have two beautiful children and I'm not having a third. They're too cute. You really can't top that."
