'SNL' announces three new cast members

Sept. 26 (UPI) -- NBC's Saturday Night Live on Tuesday announced its three newest cast members.

Heidi Gardner, Luke Null and Chris Redd will join the cast of the long-running sketch comedy show when it debuts its 43rd season Saturday.

Gardner is a writer and actress who worked on the animated Crackle comedy SuperMansion, according to The Hollywood Reporter , and will appear in the upcoming film Life of the Party with Melissa McCarthy.

Redd appeared in 2016's Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping with SNL alum Andy Samberg and had a role in the new Netflix series Disjointed, E! News reported.

Null has done shows at the iO Theater in Chicago.

Saturday Night Live previously announced the show's first three guest hosts and musical performers for the upcoming season. Actor Ryan Gosling will host the season debut, with Jay-Z performing.
