"It's life, man. It's life. Crazy," he told Entertainment Tonight when asked how he's coping as a new father.

Page Six reported O'Malley was due July 14. Moynihan had announced the actress' pregnancy in June following the debut of Wonder Woman in theaters.

"Hi @PattyJenks. Big Fan. Quick question. How soon do you think is appropriate to show my daughter @WonderWomanFilm? She's due in July," he wrote. "Thanks for making it easier to be a Dad. What an amazing, beautiful movie. Thanks to you and @gal_gadot."

Moynihan and O'Malley, an actress who appeared in the series The Big C and The Mysteries of Laura, married in August 2016. The actor left SNL in May after his comedy pilot, Me, Myself and I, was picked up to series by CBS.

"I'm an unabashed fan of SNL and would have stayed there forever and ever," he said at the TCA summer press tour, Deadline reported. "The day you get SNL you start worrying about your exit from SNL; it was always on my mind."

"I knew my contract was ending. I went to L.A. and went to a meeting," he recalled. "[I was thinking], 'I've got to make a decision soon. [Will I] hang out at the place I love most, or try and become an adult and move on?'"
