Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tasha McCauley expecting second child

May 4 (UPI) -- Joseph Gordon-Levitt and wife Tasha McCauley are expecting their second child.

The 36-year-old actor's rep confirmed to E! News that McCauley is pregnant after the couple were spotted Wednesday in Beverly Hills.

Gordon-Levitt and McCauley were seen leaving Comoncy Cafe arm-in-arm after lunch. The expectant mom showed off her baby bump in a retro-inspired polka dot dress.

Gordon-Levitt and McCauley quietly married in 2014 and welcomed their first child, a son, in August 2015. The private pair have yet to share their son's name.

"Being in the public eye is a great thing," the actor said in an interview with Live! with Kelly and Michael in 2015. "It allows me to do what I love to do, which is act in movies, but it's a choice I made."

"My son, he's just a baby, you know? He hasn't made the choice to be in the public eye, and that's a choice that I would like him to be able to make when he's older," he explained. "And so, for now, I'm just a protective dad, and I want to protect his privacy."

Gordon-Levitt told Entertainment Tonight the same year that fatherhood is "wonderful" and makes him "really happy." He will next star in the musical comedy Wingmen with Channing Tatum.
