LOS ANGELES, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Meryl Streep sang "Happy Days Are Here Again" at a private memorial held Thursday for Carrie Fisher in the Star Wars icon's Beverly Hills home.
Among the 125 guests were Penny Marshall, Meg Ryan, Richard Dreyfuss, Buck Henry, Candice Bergen, George Lucas and Gwyneth Paltrow, People magazine reported.
Fisher's 24-year-old daughter Billie Lourd, as well as Streep, Tracey Ullman, Bruce Wagner, Stephen Fry and Gavin de Becker spoke at the low-key celebration of Fisher's life, which ended Dec. 27.
Fisher died at the age of 60 just days after suffering a mid-flight heart attack. Her 84-year-old mother, screen star Debbie Reynolds, had a stroke while planning Fisher's funeral. She died on Dec. 28.
Reynolds' funeral is set for Friday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles. Some of Fisher's ashes are expected to be buried with Reynolds, Entertainment Tonight said.
