LOS ANGELES, May 20 (UPI) -- James Corden took on the role as Dancing With The Stars choreographer for a clip on the latest episode of The Late Late Show.

In the clip, Corden arrives to the DWTS set putting on airs about his dance ability, saying, "Just because I'm hosting a television show, when everyone's asleep doesn't mean I'm not dancing."

"They go 'oh, why don't you dance anymore?' And I say, 'you can't see my feet behind the desk,' because they are," he said before busting a faux tap dance move.

The late night host then runs into judges Len Goodman and a Speedo-donning Bruno Tonioli before taking over someone else's trailer in a fit after finding out he was not assigned one.

Corden later meets with his dancers, and is underwhelmed by only receiving three to work with.

"I was told I'm here to choreograph the biggest number in the show," he complained. "We're gonna need an exec producer." Ultimately, and despite all odds, Corden pulls off the 20-second bumper.
