NEW YORK, May 6 (UPI) -- Kristen Stewart and girlfriend SoKo have reportedly called it quits.

Sources confirmed the 26-year-old American actress and 30-year-old French singer's split to Us Weekly after Stewart was spotted at a Met gala after-party with Miley Cyrus' ex-girlfriend Stella Maxwell.

"They absolutely did not hook up," an insider said of Stewart and Maxwell. "Stella has mutual friends with Kristen, and they just hung out a little at the party."

Stewart and SoKo, who were known for their frequent and public displays of affection, were first linked in March. SoKo confirmed their relationship the same month while discussing her sexuality and online dating with W magazine.

"I'm very, very, very in love and very happy in a relationship," the singer said without naming Stewart. "If you find one partner who you love having sex with, it's the best!"

Stewart previously dated Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson, who is now seeing singer FKA twigs. All three stars attended the Met gala, with Hollywood Life reporting Stewart and Pattinson were friendly and embraced at the event.

"[Kristen] was just overjoyed to see Rob," a source told the website. "It had been such a long time. Kristen and Rob gave each other a big hug ... [They] were genuinely happy to see each other."

"It was a bitter pill for her to swallow, but Kristen was happy to see Rob in a loving and happy relationship," another insider added. "Kristen just wants nothing but happiness for Rob."

Stewart will next star with Nicholas Hoult in Equals, which released a first trailer in April. The actress is also slated for the Woody Allen movie Café Society and the Ang Lee drama Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk.
