WASHINGTON, Sept. 30 (UPI) -- The Who announced its new tour schedule Tuesday after postponing several dates due to lead singer Roger Daltrey's health.

The band's 50th anniversary tour will reportedly resume in Detroit, Mich., in February of next year before wrapping up in Las Vegas later that summer.

The Who's headman Daltrey says he is "now on the mend," after coming down with viral meningitis.

"I am now on the mend and feeling a lot better but I am going to need a considerable time to recover. The doctors tell me I will make a complete recovery, but that I should not do any touring this year."

In early September, the band initially canceled four shows, but as Daltrey's health deteriorated, the band said doctor's prescribed the singer a period of bed rest.

All 2015 shows have been rescheduled for the spring of 2016 in light of Daltrey's health issue.
