WASHINGTON, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- Drake expressed his views on his recent beef with fellow rapper Meek Mill at a concert over the weekend.

While performing at the Landmark Festival in Washington D.C. on Saturday, fans began chanting expletives against Meek Mill, aka Robert Rihmeek Williams, right before the Toronto-born artist began rapping his diss song "Back 2 Back."

"Don't worry, he's dead already," Drake said, in regards to Meek Mill losing the back-and-forth battle between the two. His comment was followed by a raucous round of screams and applause from approving fans.

Drake, born as Aubrey Drake Graham, released "Charged Up" and "Back 2 Back" in July soon after Meek Mill claimed Drake pays a ghostwriter to compose his songs. The brawl between the two crooners' took place on social media platforms Twitter and Instagram.

In an interview with FADER last week, Drake said he sought to defend himself against false claims, initially made by Meek Mill on his songwriting. He also said he is "not ashamed" of working with others to "spark an idea" for recording a new tune.

The news of Drake's comment about his beef with Meek Mill comes just as the rapper opened a new restaurant in Toronto called Fring's.

Additionally, Forbes recently placed Drake at third place in its list of richest rappers in the hip-hop industry, trailing behind Diddy and Jay Z.
