LOS ANGELES, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- The final installments of the popular Divergent series will renamed from their initial titles Allegiant -- Part 1 and Allegiant -- Part 2 once they open in theaters.

MTV News reports the two films -- starring Shailene Woodley and Theo James -- will be instead named The Divergent Series: Allegiant and The Divergent Series: Ascendant respectively.

Similar to the final chapters of the Hunger Games and Harry Potter, the ending of Divergent was already planned to be broken into two films. Allegiant is scheduled for release Mar. 18, 2016 while Ascendant will open Mar. 24, 2017.

Lionsgate revealed the new logos for the two flicks, complete with their fresh titles. The first of the two includes the tagline "Break the boundaries of your world," while the absolute final movie's tagline is more suggestive with "The end is never what you expect."

The series of films is based on the best-selling novels by Veronica Roth. The final two flicks are based off of Roth's Allegiant.
