NEW YORK, May 11 (UPI) -- The relationship status between on-and-off couple, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, is reportedly off for now, but Stone gushes about her "Spider Man" co-star in the May issue of Interview magazine.

The Aloha actress was interviewed by her "hero" Diane Keaton for the piece and the two discussed how they dealt with getting the things they wanted and Stone's beauty. Keaton went on during the sit down and read a quote by Garfield from 2012 that said, "Working with Emma was like diving into a thrilling, twisting river and never holding on to the sides. From the start. To the end. Spontaneous. In the moment. Present. Terrifying. Vital. The only way acting with someone should be."

"I mean, what did you feel when you heard such a dream-come-true observation," Keaton asked Stone.

"He is such a poet," the 26-year old said. "But that's the way he writes in general. So I hear it and of course my heart swells up. And I also know that he writes things like that on a daily basis."

"No way," the 69-year-old replied.

"Yes, he does." Stone said about the actor, "He's so poetic."

"What a guy. But that's beautiful," the Annie Hall actress said.

Stone laughed and said, "What a guy. He is a real Wordsworth."

"Good for you," Keaton told her. "Good for him."

"Good for him," Stone repeated.

People reports that the interview was conducted in March, before the couple went on a break from their relationship.
