Russell Wilson won't bring Ciara to White House Correspondents' Dinner

The NFL star and the singer sparked dating rumors last week.

WASHINGTON, April 24 (UPI) -- Russell Wilson won't be bringing Ciara to the White House Correspondents' Dinner after all.

The 26-year-old Seattle Seahawks quarterback revealed as much in a video post Thursday on Facebook, writing, "Can't wait to dance with my beautiful date at the WHCD this weekend! #shesgotmoves #loveugrandma."

Wilson and Ciara sparked dating rumors after they were spotted at a Seattle Mariners game last week. AOL released a partial guest list for the dinner to The Washington Post which included Wilson and "and his date Ciara."

Wilson ended his two-year marriage to wife Ashton Meem in April 2014. Ciara was previously engaged to rapper Future, but the couple called off their engagement in August 2014. She and Future have one child, son Future Zahir.
