LOS ANGELES, April 22 (UPI) -- Mila Kunis: actress, mother, chicken thief?

The 31-year-old star is being sued by Kristina Karo, an alleged former friend who claims Kunis stole her pet chicken when the pair were children, reports TMZ.

Kunis and Karo reportedly grew up together in Ukraine and often played with the latter's chicken, Doggie. Karo alleges Kunis admitted to taking the pet after it went missing, saying, "Kristina, you can have any other chicken as a pet, you have a whole chicken farm."

Karo claims the incident caused her such emotional distress she required therapy. She, like Kunis, moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment, and says her proximity to the actress caused her to re-enter treatment.

The aspiring singer is seeking $5,000 in compensation.
