LOS ANGELES, April 12 (UPI) -- Blake Lively has clarified Amber Tamblyn's statement that the stars of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movies are the godmothers of Lively's baby daughter James.

Tamblyn recently revealed in an on-camera interview that she, Alexis Bledel and America Ferrera are the newborn's godmothers.

"I never named them my godmothers," Lively told E! News, while promoting her new romantic drama The Age of Adaline.

"They're my dear friends. I would say my baby has a lot of fairy godmothers," Lively explained, adding she does have a plan in place should anything happen to her and her husband, actor Ryan Reynolds.

"My sister [Robyn] would be the one to take care of my baby," she said.

Lively and Reynolds were married in 2012. Their first child was born this past December.

Lively, Tamblyn, Bledel and Ferrera have been close friends since co-starring in 2005's The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and its 2009 followup The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.
