LOS ANGELES, April 8 (UPI) -- Tallulah Willis has been sober for nine months.
The 21-year-old daughter of actor Bruce Willis and actress Demi Moore celebrated the milestone by sharing a triumphant photo on Instagram.
"Today marks the day I have kicked 9 months of sobrietys ass," she captioned a picture of herself atop Runyon Canyon.
Willis spent 45 days in rehab for drug and alcohol abuse and an eating disorder in 2014. The star admitted to a longtime struggle with insecurity in a subsequent op-ed for Teen Vogue, and credited inpatient treatment with helping her build self-esteem.
Willis' older sister, Rumer Willis, revealed she was bullied because of her looks on Monday's episode of Dancing with the Stars. The 26-year-old actress said her sister's rehab stay inspired her own self-confidence because Willis "didn't try to hide from it" and "really owned it."
Willis and Rumer Willis have a third sibling, 23-year-old Scout Willis. Bruce Willis and Demi Moore were married from 1987 to 2000, and the actor also has two daughters, Mabel and Evelyn, with second wife Emma Heming.
