LOS ANGELES, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Recording artist Pink stripped down to her birthday suit in a new billboard for animal rights organization PETA.

The 90-foot ad is part of the organization's "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign, and finds the 35-year-old singer -- whose real name is Alecia Moore -- sitting on the floor hugging her knees. The billboard will appear in Times Square and was released ahead of New York City's Fashion Week.

The tagline: "Be confortable in your own skin and let animals keep theirs," appears in white letters next to the singer.

"I would like to say I've always been fur-free," Pink told Us Weekly. "Unfortunately, I went through a selfish phase and wore fur on a couple of occasions. But I wised up and now boycott fur completely. I wish everyone was forced to learn the horrors that these animals go through for fashion trends. I hope fur wearers get bitten in the ass by the same kind of animal they wear on their back."

Pink joins the likes Khloe Kardashian, Wendy Williams, and Olivia Munn who have also supported PETA's "Go Naked" campaign.
