Mindy Kaling relationship 'complicated,' B.J. Novak says

NEW YORK, Oct. 4 (UPI) -- Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak, The Office co-stars, dated once upon a time, and now things are a little "complicated."

Novak was asked by People to describe his former co-star and girlfriend in one word and he said, "complicated."

"A really complicated person and a really complicated friendship, but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world," he said.

Kaling previously told Howard Stern Novak broke her heart when they broke up about a decade ago.

"That was the hottest I've ever looked because I stopped eating," she said. "When I get depressed, I stop eating. I was so miserable and I was so beautiful."
