Wayne Knight: I'm not dead!

Seinfeld and Jurassic Park actor Wayne Knight took to Twitter on Sunday to dispel rumors he died in a traffic accident.

Reports surfaced that Knight, famous for playing the despised Newman on Seinfeld, died in an accident near the New York-Pennsylvania border.

Luckily for his fans, that wasn't the case.

“Some of you will be glad to hear this, others strangely disappointed … but I am alive and well!” he tweeted, along with a handful of other posts.

Knight also took a moment to express sympathy for a New York woman who did die in the Thursday traffic accident that spurred the rumors.

Regrets to my friends and family who were shocked this morning and the family of the woman who actually died in my “supposed” accident.
