LOS ANGELES, March 7 (UPI) -- Jared Leto is not fully convinced by Jennifer Lawrence's recurring falls at the Oscars.

During an interview with Access Hollywood the Academy Award winner weighed in on the Hunger Games actress's clumsy antics.

“You know, I’m starting to wonder if this is a bit of an act,” he joked about Lawrence's falls.

The 23-year-old star famously fell on her way to the podium during 2013's Annual Academy Awards as she was on her way to accept her Oscar for Best Leading Actress. A year later, Lawrence once again fell at the Oscars' red carpet after reportedly doing "a stairs test" to avoid the previous year's fiasco.

Leto also addressed the off-script comments the actress made while presenting the award for Best Leading Actor during the ceremony.

“She said, ‘What are you laughing at?’ But what she didn’t know was that Ellen was on the side…making, pantomiming [motions like], ‘Don’t fall, don’t fall,’ and my mom and my brother are all cracking up,” he explained.

“I guess we don’t have any manners,” he joked. “You can take them out of Louisiana but you can’t take Louisiana out of them, right?”
