Perry made unflattering comments and later qualified them by saying that she and Cyrus are "really good friends," but it appears Miley may have taken them the wrong way.

OMAHA, March 6 (UPI) -- Miley Cyrus fired back at Katy Perry today about the kiss the two shared in February.

Perry had appeared on Australian talk show Sunrise earlier this week and discussed the kiss in a less-than-flattering way.

She told the hosts: "I just walked up to her [Cyrus] to give her like a friendly girly kiss, you know, as girls do. Then she like tried to move her head and go deeper and I pulled away." Perry continued, "God knows where that tongue has been. We don't know! That tongue is so infamous."

Cyrus took to her Twitter today in response and posted a screenshot compilation of Perry from the Sunrise interview. The compilation included captions of the singer's unenthusiastic comments about the kiss. Cyrus tweeted, "Girl if ur worried abt where tongues have been good thing ur ex boo is ur EX BOO cause we ALL know where THAT [tongue] been."

The "ex boo" Cyrus referenced is singer John Mayer, whom Perry recently split from.

Cyrus posted another tweet almost immediately after saying, "Dontchyouuuu act like you didn't lurvvvvv it @katyperry". The tweet was accompanied by an artist's rendition of the kiss the two shared at Cyrus's Los Angeles concert.

Perry had qualified during the interview that she and Cyrus are "really good friends," but it appears that Miley might not have taken her comments very well.
