NEW YORK, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- The beauty-product company Coty Inc. says it has signed German-born supermodel and TV personality Heidi Klum to develop and market a new signature fragrance.

The perfume line will be called Heidi Klum Shine and is expected to go on sale this fall.

"I am thrilled to be partnering with Coty on my new fragrance," Klum said in a statement Friday. "Working for a long time on developing a signature scent and watching it finally come to life is so exciting. I never thought my nose would recover from sniffing so many scent combinations, but it is all worth it. I want my fragrance to be truly special and head-turning so that people ask the woman who's wearing it: 'What are you wearing? You smell delicious!'"

"We are excited to work with Heidi and capture her energy and femininity in her new signature fragrance," Bernd Beetz, Coty's chief executive officer, said. "Heidi is an international powerhouse and role model and her fragrance will bring her even closer to her adoring fans around the world. Heidi's natural beauty radiates from the inside out and is the perfect addition to the Coty family."
