NEW YORK, Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Josh Brolin and Anthony Hopkins were the first to be cast in Woody Allen's latest untitled movie, which is set to shoot this summer in London.

The project reteams the director with financer, Mediapro, the Spain-based company that also funded "Vicky Cristina Barcelona," representatives for the film said this week.

Sony Pictures Classics recently acquired Allen's next completed film, "Whatever Works," which will have a June 23 theatrical release in the United States this summer.

Brolin is an Oscar nominee for his work in Gus Van Sant's Academy Award-nominated film "Milk." His other film credits include "W." and "No Country for Old Men."

"Silence of the Lambs" star Hopkins recently completed filming "The Wolfman."
