Darfur benefits from 'Ocean's 13' premiere

HOLLYWOOD, May 9 (UPI) -- Hollywood hunks George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Don Cheadle planned several benefits around the "Ocean's 13" premiere to raise funds for Darfur.

The film's producer, Jerry Weintraub, will join the actors in launching a humanitarian organization Not on Our Watch, Variety reported Wednesday.

Weintraub will give a party for the new organization May 22 in France, two days before the Warner Bros. sequel makes its world premiere at the Cannes film festival. Then in June, the five will hold benefit premieres in Las Vegas and Chicago, with proceeds going to Not on Our Watch -- which supports existing relief efforts in Darfur and protection of people living in the Sudan region.

The North American premiere is scheduled for June 5.
