McCormack to make 'Union' with TBS

ATLANTA, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Canadian actor Eric McCormack is set to team with the TBS cable network on a new U.S. comedy pilot entitled "Imperfect Union."

The former star of "Will & Grace" has signed on to serve as an executive producer in the comedy that recently signed TV regulars Zachary Levi and Ashley Williams to play its two leads, Zap2it.com reported .

McCormack, who garnered popularity as gay lawyer Will Truman on the NBC sitcom, will produce the pilot along with Michael Forman through his company, Big Cattle.

While Williams comes off a limited role on the CBS comedy "How I Met Your Mother," Levi was previously a regular on the sitcom "Less Than Perfect."

The Web site said that the pilot, that represents TBS' third new original series, follows the head of a factory and his interaction with a new union leader.
