Yanks picked for British rock hall

The pair will join previously announced inductees Led Zeppelin, Rod Stewart, Dusty Springfield, Brian Wilson and Beatles producer Sir George Martin.

The Music Hall of Fame was established two years ago to honor artists who have contributed to the British music scene regardless of national origin.

The two new honorees are also stars in the United States. Bon Jovi was a pioneering Jersey rock outfit while Brown is the immortal "Godfather of Soul."

The induction ceremony will be held Nov. 14 at Alexandra Palace in London and will be aired live on BBC2 radio, the British Broadcasting Corp. reported Monday.

Wilson will perform, as will Patti LaBelle and Joss Stone, who will sing a pair of the late Springfield's 1960s-era hits.
