Audrey Hepburn's 'Tiffany' dress auctioned

LONDON, July 26 (UPI) -- The dress worn by actress Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 film "Breakfast at Tiffany's" will be auctioned by Christie's in London to help the poor in India.

The black Hubert de Givenchy dress Hepburn wore in her role as Holly Golightly is expected to bring between $92,000 and $130,000 when it is auctioned on Dec. 5, 2006, the BBC reported. She wore the dress in the opening scene.

"Breakfast at Tiffany's" was adapted from a story by Truman Capote.

Hepburn focused on humanitarian work in her later years and served as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador beginning in 1989.

She died of colon cancer in 1993 at age 63.
