NBC puts six new series into fall schedule

NEW YORK, May 16 (UPI) -- NBC Monday announced two unscripted series, three new drama series, and a comedy as part of its fall programming schedule.

The unscripted series are "The Apprentice: Martha Stewart" Wednesdays and "Three Wishes" on Fridays, hosted by singer Amy Grant.

The new dramas include "E-Ring" from producer Jerry Bruckheimerm set inside the Pentagon and starring Benjamin Bratt and Dennis Hopper. Second is "Fathom" an action-adventure about a mysterious new form of sea life that begins to appear in oceans; and "Inconceivable," a serialized drama set inside a fertility clinic, starring Jonathan Cake and Ming-Na.

The new comedy being added this fall on Tuesdays is "My Name Is Earl," starring Jason Lee as "a young man who has taken one too many wrong turns on the highway of life, but is now determined to make amends," the network said.

Fall schedule changes include the move of four-time Emmy winner "The West Wing" to Sundays and the return of the critically acclaimed freshman comedy "The Office" on Tuesdays.
