'Catwoman,' Bush dominate Razzies

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- "Catwoman" and President George W. Bush were the big "winners" Saturday at the 25th annual Golden Raspberry Awards in Los Angeles.

The Razzies, given to dishonor what the Golden Raspberry Foundation considers the worst of Hollywood, celebrated their 25th anniversary by singling out Arnold Schwarzenegger and the box-office bombs "Gigli" and "Battlefield Earth" as the biggest losers of the last 25 years.

"Catwoman" was served this year with Razzies for Worst Picture, Worst Actress (Halle Berry), Worst Director (Jean-Christophe "Pitof" Comar) and Worst Screenplay.

Bush was named Worst Actor for "Fahrenheit 9/11," which also snared Razzies for Worst Supporting Actor (Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld), Worst Supporting Actress (Britney Spears) and Worst Screen Couple (Bush and either Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice or "His Pet Goat").

"Scooby-Doo 2: Monster Unleashed" was named Worst Remake or Sequel.

Schwarzenegger, who has been nominated eight times for the Razzie but has never "won," was named Worst Razzie Loser of Our First 25 Years.

The prize for Worst "Drama" of Our First 25 Years went to "Battlefield Earth" (2000, nine nominations, seven Razzies). The Ben Affleck-Jennifer Lopez flop "Gigli" (2003, nine nominations, six awards) was named Worst "Comedy" of Our First 25 Years.
