LOS ANGELES, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Comedian Bob Newhart visits Wisteria Lane in an upcoming episode of ABC's "Desperate Housewives."
Newhart plays Morty, the estranged boyfriend of Susan's (Teri Hatcher) mother, Sophie, played by Lesley Ann Warren.

In the episode titled, "Children will Listen," Susan tries to get Sophie and Morty back together to keep Sophie from moving in with her.
Filming begins next week and the episode is to air in April.
