Tom Hanks talking 'Code'

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Tom Hanks is in talks to star in a movie version of the best-selling novel "The Da Vinci Code," The Hollywood Reporter said Monday.

The paper said the two-time Oscar-winning actor would play Robert Langdon, the scholar who solves the age-old mystery of The Holy Grail in Dan Brown's book. The project would reunite Hanks with his "Apollo 13" and "Splash" director, Ron Howard.
