LOS ANGELES, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- The Costume Designers Guild will honor Debbie Reynolds with its Presidents Award ceremony in Beverly Hills, Calif., Daily Variety said Monday.
The guild will present the award to Reynolds at its seventh annual awards ceremony Feb. 19. Reynolds is being honored for her career in movies, and for her contribution to the preservation of historic Hollywood costumes.

Reynolds' private collection of more than 3,500 movie and TV costumes will be housed at the Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum. The facility is scheduled to open next spring at the Belle Island Resort in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
