LOS ANGELES, Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Johnny Knoxville has joined the cast of the upcoming movie version of the 1980s TV show "The Dukes of Hazzard," The Hollywood Reporter said Friday.
Knoxville -- the star of the MTV series "Jackass" -- will play Luke Duke opposite Seann William Scott as Bo Duke.

The movie is being directed by Jay Chandrasekhar ("Super Troopers," "Club "Dread"), from a screenplay by Jonathan Davis and John O'Brien. O'Brien had a hand in writing the screenplay for this year's big-screen adaptation of the 1970s TV show "Starsky & Hutch."
