LOS ANGELES, July 7 (UPI) -- Hollywood actress Wendy Makkena has been tapped to star with Jason Alexander in the new CBS comedy "Listen Up," Zap2it.com reported Wednesday.
Makkena, last seen in FOX TV's "Oliver Beene," will play the wife of Alexander's character.

The series, loosely based on the life of "Pardon the Interruption" host Tony Kornheiser, will co-star Malcolm-Jamal Warner of "The Cosby Show," Daniella Monet and Will Rothhaar.
In the original pilot, the role of Tony's wife was played by Kirsten Nelson.
Makkena also has been seen in "The Job" and "Judging Amy" as well as in a 1994 arc of "NYPD Blue."
