Moore wants to do movie on Tony Blair

LONDON, June 12 (UPI) -- U.S. filmmaker Michael Moore wants to follow up on his documentary "Fahrenheit 9/11" with a film about Britain's Prime Minister Tony Blair.

The BBC reported Saturday that in a recent interview Moore said he holds Blair more responsible for the war in Iraq than he does George W. Bush.

In "Fahrenheit 9/11" Moore says Bush used a combination of fear and misinformation to position the United States into the war with Iraq; criticizes Bush's response to the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks in New York and Washington; and alleges connections between the Bush family and Osama Bin Laden.

Miramax's parent firm, Disney, did not want to distribute the film, but Miramax chiefs Bob and Harvey Weinstein said they would open the film in the United States June 25.
