Courtney Love mom-daughter chat may shock

NEW YORK, April 9 (UPI) -- Rocker Courtney Love told her 11-year-old daughter mom needs a man in an unconventional mom-daughter chat published in Blender's May issue.

"Sometimes, mommies need to get laid, too," Love said in the article to Frances Bean, the daughter Love had with Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain, the New York Post reported Friday.

"But Mommy," Love's daughter answered, "you intimidate men!"

In another snippet of conversation, Love's daughter discussed Janet Jackson's breast-baring Super Bowl performance.

"Janet Jackson was inappropriate," Frances Bean told Love.

"But I've shown my (breasts) in front of people, honey," Love told her daughter.

"But (what Janet did) was in front of children," Frances Bean said.

The bizarre article could get Love, who faces several legal charges, in more trouble.

Love is scheduled to appear next week in a California court on drug and vandalism charges.

Last month, Love was arrested for allegedly throwing a microphone stand at a fan during a New York concert.

Love's recent legal woes prompted child welfare officials to place Frances Bean with Wendy O'Connor, Cobain's mom. Cobain died in 1994.
