Prince to enter Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

NEW YORK, March 15 (UPI) -- The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame welcomes its Class of 2004 Monday night at New York's Waldorf-Astoria Hotel.

The new inductees are: Prince, Bob Seger, the late George Harrison, ZZ Top, the Dells, Jackson Browne and Traffic.

The superstar rockers will be enrolled in the Hall of Fame by an equally big-name cast of presenters, says the New York Daily News.

Providing their introductions will be Tom Petty, Keith Richards and Bruce Springsteen, all of them Hall of Famers themselves.

Other presenters are: Alicia Keys, Dave Matthews, OutKast and Kid Rock.

VH1 will air a two-hour program Sunday night.

The Hall of Fame is in Cleveland and attracts some 500,000 visitors a year.
