MARSEILLES, France, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- No. 1 seed Novak Djokovic Wednesday trounced qualifier Ivan Dodig, 6-1, 6-4 in the second round of the Open 13 tennis tournament in Marseilles, France.

In other results, second-seeded Richard Gasquet of France topped Italy's Simone Bolelli 6-3, 6-3; Croatian wild card Mario Ancic beat 7th-seeded Lemans, France native and surprise Australian Open runner-up Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 7-5, 7-6 (7-3); No. 3 seed Mikhail Youzhny of Russia beat Croat Marin Cilic 6-4, 7-6 (7-3); French wild card Michael Llodra downed Italian Andreas Seppi 6-2, 7-6 (7-5); and 6-foot-10 inch Croat Ivo Karlovic ousted Spaniard Feliciano Lopez 6-7 (6-8), 7-5, 7-6 (7-4).

In the day's lone second-round match, Nicolas Mahut continued a very good day for Frenchmen by beating fifth-seeded Juan Carlos Ferrero of Spain 5-7, 6-4, 7-6 (7-1).
