ISLAMABAD, June 6 (UPI) -- Pakistan and Turkey are in talks for Islamabad to purchase T129 attack helicopters co-developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries, a move officials from both countries said would strengthen defense ties between the two, the Anadolu news agency reported Friday.
The news came as the newly appointed Turkish Defense Minister Fikri Isik and Khawaja Muhammad Asif, his Pakistani counterpart, met in Islamabad for talks.
