"We have a long-standing relationship with Abu Dhabi Customs providing a range of product offerings to secure their strategic borders from smuggling, trade fraud and other threats," said AS&E President and Chief Executive Officer Anthony Fabiano. "We share their goal to balance minimum restrictions on trade while providing maximum security by utilizing the best inspection technologies.

"This repeat order demonstrates the confidence of the government of Abu Dhabi and the Customs Directorate of its Finance Department in AS&E products and services to help safeguard their borders."

The ZBV system is a low-cost, highly mobile screening system built into a commercially available delivery van. The ZBV system allows for immediate deployment in response to security threats and its high throughput capability facilitates rapid inspections.

The Gemini parcel inspection system is the lowest cost multi-technology parcel inspection system on the market and the only system to combine AS&E's Z Backscatter technology and dual-energy transmission.
