The AEW&C program is a Turkish air force initiative to reduce the costs of aircrew training for the Peace Eagle Airborne Early Warning aircraft. Officials say Boeing and Havelsan announced the completed installation of mission, flight and replay planning terminals and Electronic Support Measures workstation hardware.

"These installations are a major step forward for the program and set the stage for formal integration of the hardware and software, as well as for developmental test and evaluation in spring 2010," Mark Ellis, Boeing Peace Eagle program manager, said in a statement.
