BOS Security selected for TSA's SPP

WASHINGTON, July 17 (UPI) -- BOS Security Inc. has been selected by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration for its Screening Partnership Program.

Georgia-based BOS Security will become a private sector screening partner for the TSA at the Roswell International Air Center in New Mexico.

Under the approximately $2.6 million public-private partnership contract, BOS Security will conduct passenger checkpoint screening and baggage scanning services as part of the Transportation Security Administration's SPP.

"This is an excellent example of an effective public-private partnership, and we look forward to working with BOS Security to provide security here at Roswell," George Andler, TSA federal security director for Albuquerque International Sunport, said in a statement.
